For this month’s Attorney Spotlight blog, we would like to recognize the skills and achievements of our own William P. Lemega.
Will Lemega concentrates his areas of practice in family law matters, including divorce; post-judgment matters; child support; custody; and domestic violience matters. Will also lobbies appeals when family trial courts are challenged. His compassionate guidance and keen insight are hallmarks of Will’s personal style. In an area of law that is often emotionally charged, Will’s nurturing approach builds trust and confidence.
After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Communications from The University of Scranton in 2004, Will went on to graduate from The New England School of Law in 2009, which he attended evenings while working in regulatory compliance for a wealth management firm during the day.
After law school, Will honed his skills in family law during a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C. of the Morris County Superior Court, Family Part. During that time, he was responsible for a variety of family matters, including all Domestic Violence and Family Division docket matters in the county.
Before he joined Lyons & Associates, P.C., Will practiced strictly matrimonial law for two Morris County law firms. Will is a member of the American Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association; a Panelist on the Hunterdon County Early Settlement Panel; and a founding member of the Westfield Business Referral Exchange Group. Will is also the author of numerous published articles on topics of which his experience has provided him with special insight.
In his person life, Will is a rabid fan of NCAA Basketball, having played college ball himself. It is with that tenacity and attention to the smallest details that Will serves his clients.
