Alyssa Rivera is a Paralegal based in the firm’s Morristown office, supporting the medical malpractice defense team with over 10 years of legal experience.
She assists attorneys in managing complex cases from inception through trial, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and expert witness coordination. Alyssa is known for her organization and ability to keep cases moving efficiently.
Alyssa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies from Montclair State University, with a concentration in Paralegal Studies and a minor in Justice and Family Systems. She also holds an ABA-accredited paralegal certificate from Montclair State’s paralegal program.
Prior to joining Lyons & Associates, Alyssa worked at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, supporting the Supervising Assistant Prosecutor and the Transcription Unit. She also has experience as a legal assistant/paralegal at a boutique medical malpractice firm.
