Elise graduated from Montclair State University summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minors in Pre-law and Classics. She received her Juris Doctorate in 2021 from Rutgers Law School. During her law school career, she served as the Lead Editor of the New Developments subsection of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion. Elise had two articles published during her tenure at the journal which explored the intersection of religion with either new or well-established doctrine. While in law school, she also served as an intern at an estate planning firm where she gained experience and knowledge in estate planning, elder law, and guardianship matters.
After graduating law school, Elise enjoyed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Rudolph A. Filko, P.J.F.P., the Presiding Judge of the Family Part in Passaic County Superior Court. During her clerkship, Elise was responsible for assisting with various family matters, including the juvenile docket, post-judgment matrimonial proceedings, and non-dissolution matters. She also regularly conducted Consent Conferences and moderated Mediation Panels for various non-dissolution matters including, but not limited to, paternity, child support, custody, and visitation.
Elise is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey.
