Our steadfast dedication, personal attention, and unwavering commitment will ultimately ensure that your case will have the best possible outcome. We are rightfully proud of our talented legal team and the work that we do to help families and individuals. For this month’s Attorney Spotlight, we would like to recognize the skills and achievements of our own Marissa A. Del Mauro.

Marissa’s practice focuses on all family law matters, including custody, child support, parenting time issues (both pre- and post-divorce), and more. She has extensive experience in high-asset divorces. Marissa’s approach to her work is both insightful and compassionate. She understands that divorce is a complex process – financially and emotionally – and she helps her clients navigate troubled waters with grace and dignity and with consideration of each client’s future security and well-being.

After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from Vassar in 2008, Marissa received her Juris Doctorate from Western New England College School of Law in 2011. While in law school she served as a student advocate at Western Massachusetts Legal Services, where she represented indigent clients facing housing foreclosure.

After law school, Marissa held a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Kimarie Rahill, J.S.C., of the Warren County Superior Court, Family Part, now the presiding Judge of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties.  During that time, she was responsible for a variety of family law matters, including matrimonial and juvenile cases. She also regularly mediated custody, parenting time, and child support for non-dissolution cases.

Prior to joining Lyons & Associates, P.C., Marissa focused primarily on the practice of family law for a firm in Morris County. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey.

In her personal life, Marissa counts half marathons, golf, and staying healthy among her many interests. She also belongs to a variety of organizations, including the Somerset County Business Partnership, Young Professionals Division, where she is a Board Member; and she is a Business Networking International Member.
